This past week we went to the annual Remuera Toastmasters Christmas event. Held at a Thai restaurant (Bua Thai) in Mt Eden, it was a great night with speeches and awards to cap off the year.
With almost 100% club attendance, Richard was MC for the night (OK - I must admit his jokes weren't all that bad!). At the end of the evening, Richard was awarded, amongst others being awarded trophies, the final award of the evening - the Toastmaster of the Year award. An unexpected surprise. All in all a great night - enjoyed by everyone!
