McNaught's Comet

Well we, and quite a few Aucklanders, treked up to Mt Eden for a view of McNaught's comet. And it is a pretty amazing sight. Viewed in the right conditions, on the southwest horizon, this comet has a big tail and is visible for up to 40 minutes after sunset.

This should be a brightest comet in 100 years and will be viewable for the next few days or so.
