This one deserves a mention given it was highlighted at our wedding.
Say hello to the Durian (pronounced "Doo-ree-an"). As Rich said in his speech it can be a described as a large fruit, slightly bigger than a melon, covered in spikes - HUGE BIG SPIKES! Very hard to handle and extremely smelly to say the least. Think about having to eat half a cheesecake after a large roast dinner (i.e., rich and filling dessert) and combine that with a strong smell, and you're kinda onto it. One thing is for sure - Malaysians love it!
