It was anyones' guess leading up to the Auckland Half Marathon this year - was it going to rain, or perhaps more aptly put, "bucket down", or not?? All the sites predicted a bit of a rainfest on the morning of the run, but again the best NZ weather site, in our opinion - www.metvuw.com, came to the party and its predictions ran true to form. The rain stayed away until late morning (run started at 6.30am) allowing for a clear, but windy and testy run for the Auckland Half.

The course was a little longer this year as this was the first time it had been officially measured.
In the end Richard finished his 10th half marathon in a time of 1hr 40 mins, while his good friend Steve (aka Shewy) finished his first in 2 hrs and 03 mins. Well done Shewy!
